You can visit Skills West Midlands at any time. With so much to see we offer special staggered slots for big groups so everyone gets a chance to try the interactive features. We recommend visiting the event for approximately two hours.

    What happened in 2010?

    Loads of companies had loads of fun at the event and helped thousands of students get involved with demonstrations and activities. Many ran competitions with great prizes 

    Engineer your future
    Bridging the gap between school and work Arup made structures out of drinking straws and the ICE created a giant free standing archway out of newspapers.

    Investigate your future
    There was a murder scene on the Henley College Coventry’s stand, visitors got to piece the clues together and find their perfect career solution.

    Find a new you
    Heart of England Training students were busy sharing their skills and offering hair and beauty treatments and demonstrations.

    Taste challenge
    HIT Training tested taste buds with a fruit guessing game followed by a chance to try the chocolate fountain.

    Performances 

    There was a programme of exciting demonstrations on the performance stage including dance, cheerleading, makeovers and fitness displays.
